Although I already have regular ice cube trays, for some reason I still have a cat/kitten ice cube mold with the cat's expression on it This form reminded me of my cats who passed away - one died in 2000 and the other died in 2010. So I got this cat shaped ice cube tray. But apart from nostalgia and sentimentality, there is nothing special about this ice cube tray/mold. While I've only used it as an ice cube tray, it will probably serve far better as a mold for making gummies or something. Because the "wells" for storing liquid contents (be it water for ice cream, ingredients for homemade chewing gum, etc.) are quite small. Although I have made ice cream several times with this mold, the ice cream is too small for my taste. That's why I say this cat/kitten shaped gummy ice cube mold is better for making jelly beans or chocolate than ice cream. .This is a rubber/silicone mould. Whether for ice cream or gum and chocolate, it will likely be easier to release the contents than from a hard plastic tray/mold. In principle, the use of this article is pretty clear. You fill each of the cat-shaped holes with water or melted chocolate or gelatin and other ingredients to make jelly beans, then place them in the freezer (for ice cream) or the fridge to set, bending and twisting once hard you release the form's content. It's a pretty decent ice cube tray/mold although it's not a tray with 10 SMALL ice cube slots, IMO it would be better if it had 5 large ice cube slots instead! ★☆★ 3 STARS!
