Review on πŸš— ReadyLift 69-5510 Lift Kit with Smart Suspension Technology (Non-4x4/4WD Compatible) by Shane Jess

Great value lift kit, good product, follow instructions, read my review for installation tips.

Great product at an affordable price. This kit is a cost effective 5-bolt Tacoma lift kit for 2WD or 4WD that has very little to do with suspension upgrades as it is. In general, the installation is not bad. In addition to grinding the longer strut bolt bolt for spacers, I found that I also had to grind the head of the hex bolt down and all the way around to get the bolt head into the weld hole. bracket on the axle and leave a gap so the screw head doesn't rest/rub on the axle itself. Also the center hole of the floorplate/bracket for the leaf spring pack and rear shock mount should be widened slightly to accommodate the large nut and washer the edges of which will need to be cut around the edges of the nut to allow the leaf spring pack to be flush with to sit on the base plate/bracket. BE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS and CHECK FINAL TORQUE KITS for all units per your vehicle service manual to ensure everything is correct. Using two C-Clamps is a MUST when adding an extra wing to the wing pack as it makes the job MUCH EASIER! So, after loosening the clamps holding the leaf spring pack, you can simply insert the leaf and then tighten it again and mount the new screw. This simplifies the task as the spring pack is attached to the truck during operation. After completing the lift kit, be sure to perform an alignment to ensure everything is in order.
