Review on 🌊 Quick Dam QD1224-6: Flood Bags 1ft x 2ft, 6-Pack - Fast-Acting Water Activated Barrier for Flood Prevention by Matthew Owens

Can't say enough good things about these bags

After successfully using the long Quick Dam Flood Barrier Tube I really wanted to like these bags but I find it difficult to use them because of the absorbent material shifts in the pocket. You need to evenly distribute the material in the pouch before wetting it or you'll end up with clumps of moderately rich innards. But even if you do it carefully before activating them, the rich materials inside the bag shift when you move it, and I found I had to move the absorbent material (outside the bag) by hand. . These pouches get slimy, and while I find this a small price to pay for the long tubes, because I generally have to touch them most of the time to move the tube, I do have to smooth out the inner materials and move through the fabric of these smaller sizes . bags are good. The slime factor got downright nasty. I seriously wanted to like her. It requires smaller tubes than the ones supplied (to fill the space and to be honest to make it easier to move around) but I feel this is a poor design (or maybe mine was just defective) and a waste of money. I'd like to see a tube design made in, say, 2 feet long.
