I have 3 pairs of Gel Kayano 19 just because I love them so much and I got a very good discount on the 3rd pair. I really can't tell the difference between these and 19, but I just love the colors. It's HOT pink and bright! I'm a fairly new runner and in my 40's. So I wanted a shoe for my aging ankles and knees. I trained for my first half marathon in my 19's and ran one in my 20's. Both offer me good cushioning. I tried the Nike Free running shoes and I didn't like them at all. So I only wear them to "run errands". The size 8 fits me like a glove, but I bought the Hayano 19 and 20 a half size up because I've been told that feet swell with running and the heat. Outside. I get blisters but I have no idea if it could be because my shoes are half a size too big for me. I'm patching the blisters now and that seems to be helping.
