Review on 🚗 Dorman 740-198 Window Regulator for Front Driver Side, Compatible with Honda Models by Jon Brazil

The original Civic DX power window I installed it in worked well - smooth, easy, effortless raise and lower, no lag - until the cable broke, ie i needed it a replacement. Feedback on this has been good, along with a manufacturer video showing how up to date the design, production and testing is. So I expected to get a product that would perform just as well, if not better than the OEM product. Well, this product "works". Something like. It was easy to install. But to raise and lower the window you need both hands and a lot of strength. That's ridiculous. He FEEL broken. After installing and trying this regulator, I loosened it and adjusted it several times with no improvement. Then I even re-greased the window rails, after that no improvement. This regulator works. but it sucks. It's a bit better than having the window down, but in hindsight I should have either gone to the dump or just left the window 2x4 propped like I had previously.
