AC Delco Professional is the way to fly. The idler mount, arm, and crank arm are only $60 more expensive than the same parts in the ACDelco Advantage line, but the Pro line is much more powerful. They work on GMT 800 trucks. We recommend the OTC 6496 Close Quarters Pitman Boom Puller for trucks/SUVs given the frames of these trucks; This puller is the best $60 you could ever spend. Not only did this stop tire wear on the old idlers and connecting rods, it also greatly improved my truck's high speed performance! I used Mystik JT-6 Hi-Temp lithium complex grease and all the balls and tie rods. It's a high temperature wheel bearing grease, but cheap and with killer performance (they list it as chassis grease).
