Quality and perfect fit

Seems a solid and well made part that should last a while - I made the mistake of buying a cheaper Detroit Diesel front kit that lasted less than 5,000 miles Has! Should have bought OEM quality the first time and saved me the headache of swapping those parts twice! Lesson learned!

Seemed too loose for a new block

I trust AC Delco but this block felt just as loose as the block I removed. I've replaced all the steering parts with AC Delco and it seems the steering still needs adjustment way too often. Yes, the Tahoe has a short, wide wheelbase, and that's typical of these SUVs, but it's too much to spend all on AC Delco Pro parts.

AC Delco Professional is the way to fly

AC Delco Professional is the way to fly. The idler mount, arm, and crank arm are only $60 more expensive than the same parts in the ACDelco Advantage line, but the Pro line is much more powerful. They work on GMT 800 trucks. We recommend the OTC 6496 Close Quarters Pitman Boom Puller for trucks/SUVs given the frames of these trucks; This puller is the best $60 you could ever spend.
