I have a weather station in my garden. I also have a device that collects weather data and sends it to the 'cloud' for me to check with their app on my phone, ipad and pc. It also sends data to Wunderground so others can see local conditions. My problem was that the sending device is receiving data from the wireless station and sending the data over a wired connection. I have often received messages about the signal loss. I placed the unit at the back of the house where it was much closer to the station. I connected it to the WiFi extender Ethernet port and then connected the WiFi extender to my WiFi router and I haven't received a signal loss warning since.
