As a computer scientist, I wanted to check whether this was really claimed, and I was right! That thing can take a lot. I have 12 devices on this thing and it won't budge. Every once in a while, maybe once a month, and then maybe a second slower, but a second later it's no problem again. Your devices won't even notice a second, but as a tech I watch a lot. That's the real deal. I don't care if you have a high-priced product, it fits. I have fiber optic and I get everything fiber optic says I can get with range. I went outside on 5GHz and was able to connect to 5GHz in almost a quarter! Not 2.4GHz, I'm talking about 5GHz. Now at 2.4GHz I could move on to the next block. I promise it's like a soccer field and my router is hidden in a closet! I hope this lasts as I will look for it at every opportunity. I recently had a Netgear Nighthawk ac1750 and I figured it was the best option and it can't touch that router. If you have an old computer, you have an old wireless card, then you need this router. Now old wireless cards can't receive 5GHz but 2.4GHz can and with any router because your wireless card and older model is not a router but your computer card. A little information about it. But whatever card you have, this thing will look like any computer card would be good. I was having trouble with 5Ghz on a Netgear Nighthawk outdoors. Not this router. There is no drop in speed except when I go further, almost a quarter, and still get from 96 Mbps to 100 Mbps per quarter! Get this thing, you won't be disappointed and the update makes it amazing. I can also tell you that no matter where you go in the house or on the street, you need to keep the settings high for it to reach its maximum peak. I hope this helps everyone, it really has helped me so much that I live stream videos for a living and I've never had a problem with this thing. Not a drop even at the service, as if I would connect directly to the modem without hesitation. I love this router!
