Review on 🛠️ Enhance Precision with the DEWALT DWS5031 Router TrackSaw Guide Adapter by Eric Fuego

So there is a review on the first page saying this will work with Bosch 1617 dive center but the holes must be light - loosened up a bit. That means there is actually no need to use this guide with Bosch. This guide contains various adapters for use with various Dewalt (and Porter Cable) routers. There is an adapter labeled "DW625" that mounts to the TOP of the Bosch 1617 dive base WITHOUT modification. Since it fits into the top of the base and not the slots in the guide rod holes, it is easily secured with two thumbscrews. See attached photos. The guide itself seems to match my Dewalt track well and includes two cams to press it against the tie rod. However, it's mostly made out of plastic which feels pretty cheap so I'm hoping it will hold up over time. It also seems overpriced for what it is. In fact, it is more expensive than the corresponding Festool manual for the OF1400 router! All of this allows you to cut grooves and grooves, and if you already have Dewalt rails this is a handy accessory.
