At first I was very skeptical about sleep pads in general. Mainly because I can't see how a few inches can keep you comfortable and warm on the ground. After some extensive research, I bought this pad. The first test was on my carpeted floor in the living room using a summer sleeping bag at 68 degrees F; and it wasn't a hype. This pad was very comfortable and my back side was warm all night, I even had to fully open up the sleeping bag.My next test was when I traveled up to Minnesota and it was on a hardwood floor using my summer sleeping bag again at about the same temperature. Same result. I am very impressed with engineering put into this pad.I have slept on this pad for multiple days without losing any comfort.I would not recommend it for carrying it along with long hikes because it isn't very light; but for camping and traveling, this pad is worth it.Inflate and deflating is super easy because of the design.I plan on buying another pad for my wife once we start hitting the road again.
