I have always been interested in martial arts and use a punching bag for exercise/stress relief. When I had the opportunity to order these gloves, I grabbed them. Firstly they are not real leather but very durable and well made. I've dealt with poorly made gloves before. It's not like this. Velcro also works very well. I have never had slippage and they have never been reversed. These gloves are definitely strong. I can go full throttle on my punching bag and feel almost nothing. In addition, the heaviness of the gloves increases the stress during training. I've never tried them in sparring (because I rarely get the chance) but I'm sure they would be great. I'm quite a small guy, so the gloves are too big for me. But even then they still fit well. I just need to pull the velcro tighter. Also, they look really cool. And that's important.
