I had an area that needed a small curtain so I got this, but then I also needed an eyelet tool. My hands aren't that strong, so I had to press hard on the instrument. My son could work much better than me. Just make sure to line everything up and press firmly to ensure a straight and even seal. They did the job and since I haven't attached grommets before I don't have much to compare but they didn't seem to be as durable as you might need if you need to attach something like leather. So I think what I'm saying is that they are a bit flimsy but will work in many applications.
