Review on πŸ“ Inch-based Foambeak Insulation for Vertical Expansion by Charles Lewellen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works as advertised

I bought these to insulate my fiberglass acrylic niche and they worked exactly as I had hoped. I used Loctite Tite foam for the windows and doors and the Foambeak nozzles matched the hoses that came with the foam cans perfectly. The foam will be evenly distributed from the nozzle but make sure you buy a few more cans than you think you will need because if you have to go to the store to buy more you will need the Foambeak Throw away nozzle and get a brand new one. My tub used 6 cans of Loctite Tite foam (on 3 sides only, not on the bottom or behind the skirt). I applied the foam while the tub was upside down and let it dry before installing it so I could trim off any foam that had expanded too much. If possible I would recommend applying the foam to horizontal surfaces as it tends to sag when applied to a vertical surface. These nozzles are 3D printed and one of the three I received had a small hole in it due to a printing error, but with a piece of tape over the hole it wasn't an issue.
