Great tool, highly recommend.

Does what it's supposed to do. I highly recommend getting the lightweight model as you will be using it for hours laying floors. I only had a few " Fails"." because I didn't swing the hammer with enough force. The momentum of the punch doesn't have to be very strong, after just a few hours of use you can settle down and swing easily, which is why the nail doesn't fully penetrate the hardwood. When this happened I took an electric sanding disc and cut off the exposed part of the nail (be careful not to let the cut off part of the nail lie on the floor as it gets red hot and will burn approx 400 sqft of pre-treated oak 3/ thick got ripped off with it. 4" and I've had no problems. I recommend wrapping the head of the hammer in blue masking tape if used very close to walls, as the hammer can startle walls if it hits them. on recoil the nailer's strike plate. I installed a 110psi air compressor and it worked great. There is no problem with the nailer footboard scratching or marring the floor during installation. A MUST HAVE FOR WOOD FLOOR INSTALLATION! little more for one lighter nailer.

Pros
  • Pro Design: This pneumatic nailer features durable, lightweight aluminum construction, a lightweight shock absorber, a semi-quick release tip for easy jam clearance, and interchangeable base plates for hard or artificial floors 1/2" to 3/4" thick. ".
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
