This item doesn't fit my car

This item doesn't fit my car: ( 2000 / Mercedes CLK 320 ) Round hole with brass thread doesn't fit my smooth AC Low/High Side Service Port. The ends (3) of the core are not deep enough to remove the core. Due to Covid I missed the return deadline through my own fault. I lost $17.50
