Included prescription insert doesn't fit

So I decided to buy this since it had the prescription insert and looked pretty decent. I typically buy prescription sunglasses but can't get sports shades due to my lense type so naturally this piqued my curiosity. It looks like a good lightweight pair of sports glasses from the pictures. It comes with a good assortment of interchangeable lenses, carrying case, cheap price, and mostly favorable reviews so I figured why not?Turns out for $20 (or any price) this is too good to be true. I can understand how if you don't need use insert this might work out for you. To be fair, the glasses by themselves are wearable and light. The frames are a bit flimsy but that's forgiveable.I can see for that reason alone it might be OK but if you're buying this for prescription this absolutely useless since it doesn't fit! Yes, that's right. The clips do not fit the bridge and the sides of the insert rub up against the outer lense. Either this is a really terrible design or they just included some random insert and didn't check whether it actually works with the glasses that it came with. Also, while the glasses comes with instructions for how to swap out the main lense, there is nothing that tells you how to put in the insert so this is the dealbreaker for me.So if anyone is buying this intending to use this for the prescription insert then this is what you'll end up with. If you have 20/20 vision or use contacts then you might get some use out of this.

Pros
  • Glasses & Goggles
Cons
  • May not be polarized enough to reduce glare for some consumers
