What a wonderful little entity this is. I never use the CD slot so this is perfect for me. It sits firmly in the slot and the magnet is strong enough to hold my Galaxy 6 on the mount. Switching from portrait to landscape and back is very easy. My phone sticks out far enough to allow quick touch controls at traffic lights and bus stops. Detaching from the mount and putting it back on is very easy as there is nothing like a mount that snaps into place. Just take it off and replace it when you're done. . When the mount is in the slot, part of the magnet doesn't go very far onto the ball/arm, tilting the phone too far back. I solved this problem by inserting the bracket into the CD slot upside down, but I'm not sure if that's the best solution. I suggest lowering the lever ball or letting the magnet part move to a lower position than the current limits allow.
