So my main requirement for one of these extensions was compatibility with my 1875w hair dryer. It was one of the few devices capable of supporting this kind of performance. Most of the other extensions I've looked at are rated below that. I've used it in the bathroom which gets quite steamy after a shower and it worked well. A few months have passed so far. No questions. I didn't spray it directly with water, of course, but presumably it will handle it. I have no plans to test this security anytime soon :) Comes with a very thin cable that is difficult to route. However, the plug is angled to reveal the neighboring socket. Overall I'm happy with this extension.
