This yarn is simply beautiful. It will not splinter, roll, bind or wear out. The weight is perfect for socks, mittens, gloves and hats that look professional. Given the soft fabric, I was expecting the socks to wear out quicker, but my husband (who often neglects his feet and goes without shoes or slippers!) has been wearing them for several years without a single hole. And most importantly, this company has solved the same sock problem that used to drive me crazy; Now I can make two identical socks with beautiful patterns without much effort. The German shortrow heel makes knit socks perfect for watching movies, driving, waiting for a meeting, literally anywhere. The colors of this series are clean and beautiful and offer something for every taste. The patterns are clearer and better designed than other brands. The price is quite reasonable considering that one ball makes two roomy, beautiful and durable socks for even the largest adult feet. They wash very well and dry without much fuss. You can use a cool dryer, but I personally prefer to shape and air dry my work to protect it. My only complaint is that I wish they came in more colors and patterns. I've been knitting for half a century and I highly recommend this yarn.
