Review on πŸ”§ Felo Wood Handle Screwdriver Set - Slotted and Phillips, 5 Pieces, Chrome Finish Blade with Beechwood Grip, Model 33595198 07157 22155 by Jake Solorzano

A set of premium screwdrivers.

Very nice screwdrivers. The wooden handles are nicely sculpted, the handles have hex flats to slip a wrench in if you need to, the tips are full size and don't protrude like the Craftsman and some others, and the metal handle goes through. Handle so you can tap it with a hammer if needed. This is a very good buy for the money - a big step up over most screwdrivers. Tools for life that you can pass on to the next generation. Personally I prefer not to coat wooden handles with shellac - it seems like all wooden handle tool makers do and shouldn't apply this stuff. It is better to send the bare handle and have it coated with boiled linseed oil. I cleaned most of the coating and label/barcode with acetone, then lightly sanded with 180 grit sandpaper, then applied several coats of boiled linseed oil over several days (24 hours between coats). Now the handles feel much nicer. I don't need to see the label and who puts the barcode on the pen? See attached photos showing how they arrived in the box, after acetone, after sanding and after linseed oil.
