I have bought several other privacy cases and the top of the case inevitably falls off. They all seem to work well on laptops and other devices, but the phone going in and out of pockets and my bag cause problems with cases falling off. I used to buy extras and only replace the sliding part. I am very happy to find this design where the lid is not easy to fall off! I've been wearing it for a few days now, sometimes in my trouser pocket, sometimes without any problems with adhesion or anything. **Update - It's been a little over a month now and I love it! It sits securely on the front of my phone (the hardest part), opens when I need it and stays closed the rest of the time. The size was a little bigger than others (see photo). I don't think this will be an issue for larger devices like tablets and laptops. The case fits easily on the front of my phone, but the back of my phone case has a cut-out around the camera that wasn't big enough to fit this new case. Luckily for me, the front camera cover fell apart and that was the design I needed the most. This cover is harder to open than the others because the slide button is slightly recessed. I have to use my fingernail and not my fingertip, which can be problematic for some. (I tried it with a short/freshly cut nail and it opened fine.)
