Review on 🚗 Rugged Ridge 17212.14 Elite Antenna Base - Red - Fits 2007 to Current Jeep Wrangler and 2020 to Current Gladiator by Justin Miller

Anyone who says this isn't a built-in Brainerd is lying. Quality assurance in production is complete crap. The hole where the knurled threaded antenna bolt passes through the fender antenna cover from the mat edge is too small. I had to use a file to make a groove for the locking screw to allow the cap to come out of the hole in the back. Hexagon head screws are too long! The cup of the lid is too short and the stopper is pushing against the end. Finally, the back cover does not rest against the connector on the fender, so the antenna is now unattached. Be prepared to use 5/32 washers to take up the slack and press the antenna firmly against the wing.
