Pretty at idle but cackle on the gas

I installed them on a 1984 GMC truck with dual exhaust SBC. I live in a fairly quiet area and drive this truck to work at 6am every morning. nervous at first they will be too loud but they sound perfect. at idle, but give it a little gas and they can get loud. not cats, pipe x or h. price i love her
