It doesn't cost $10. The gas cover is terrible. . . How to ruin your tungsten and everything else is awful. I thought it was the El Chipo lens. It is not. I replaced it with high quality lenses and there was no improvement. 3/32, 1/8, 1/16 leads failed. momentum = failure. 35 amps? Fail. 120 amps? Fail! Argon CFH 10-35. . . everything has failed. So I went back to the El Cheapo lens and put on my standard #8 alumina cup. Takaaaaaaaaaaaaa my conclusion is that the pyrex cup is PIC. Trouble is, you're probably looking at this thing because of the Pyrex bowl. What you save in cost is wasted time, filler, electrodes, and coupons to test this thing out. Just buy a fuel efficient CK or Furick. I'm not saying this thing doesn't work for some people. What I'm saying is that the $$ I could have possibly saved on this job was eaten up by the time it took to test this thing. If you buy something from CK, WeldTec, Furick, etc., you have a lot less testing to do.
