A noisy power supply that might be fine for your purposes. It wasn't for me.

I used it to connect the DVR. I pulled the extra power supply from the back of the stereo where I was already using it to power the rear camera. Electrical noise appeared in the form of faint moving diagonal lines after installation on the rear camera. When switched off, the electrical noise disappeared. I guess I should have expected corner trimming for $9.59. (I see the price is now $13.99 as I write this. Also, I believe my rear camera's input filtering has been cut as well, but that's another review.) In short, it's a noisy power supply. at least on the entry side. For a short time I thought I could add shielding/chokes (radiated noise) and put a low pass filter on the input (conducted noise), but that would probably take more time, effort and money than buying something that doesn't. t cut so many corners. So I bought a $20 TecMate USB power converter which solved my problems. If you're just using it to power your phone from circuits that don't contain other devices that might be susceptible to electrical noise, then it could be a good use. of your $10. If not, then you should probably buy something better.
