Review on Color Your Way - Customizable Coloring Experience by Michelle Langley

This was my first adult coloring book I bought and it's quite a difficult book for a beginner! When I started this new hobby I only had crayons, some markers, regular Bic crayons and a set of gel pens. These were the tools I used for my first attempt at coloring; Attached is a photo of my first picture. I'm sure it looks pretty amateurish and while I've gotten better over time I still have a lot to learn and a long way to go. However, I love to paint because it takes me from my *real life* to my imagination. I am currently my mother's main caregiver while she is in hospice care and since I can't leave the house very often I turn to my many coloring books for a great and fun distraction. So specifically about this book: It's wonderful. ! The drawings are detailed and very interesting. The creatures and the landscape are pretty cute. The size of the book is amazing; I wish there were more books as large and printed on such quality paper as this book. However, as a true beginner, I found it too difficult and didn't want to ruin a wonderful illustration with my inexperience. So I started working on mandalas, which gave me a lot of practice. Now I feel comfortable going back to this book and getting something really good. This is a wonderful book. If you are a beginner I would still suggest getting one so you can look forward to something fairly challenging and I think experienced colorists will get a real kick out of it too.
