Review on 170 Piece First Aid Kit - Hard Case & Lightweight, Emergency Supplies For Travel, Home, Office & Outdoors by Ben Jacobson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

great to have on hand for emergencies

This is a small but handy plastic kit (not indestructible, don't kick it around too much) with carabiner so you can hook it to things, that'll keep stuff in place and mostly dry (not waterproof). It's refillable, but keep in mind that it is PACKED very well with almost 200 first aid items, even an emergency blanket. There's disinfectant wipes, various bandages, burn lotions, tweezers and even scissors - what it doesn't have is any medication (aspirin or ibuprofen, things like that), so you may want to try to cram a couple of those in somehow or pack your own. This will cover a lot of cuts, burns, blisters and so forth, and can be used again and again. A great item to keep in the car or for trips, let alone in the home somewhere.

Pros
  • Boating
Cons
  • The hard case may not protect supplies from extreme temperatures or weather conditions
