This is one of the first things I do to a caravan after buying a new one. I've seen many RV stoves clogged and filled with nests of dirty goo, especially in the spring when they're looking for a place to call home. Not only does this make your stove inefficient, it is also extremely dangerous as the heat can set the nests on fire and burn your home down. To install, install the supplied springs onto the screen and insert a slotted tool through the hole in the screen and slide the spring over one of the metal rods on the firebox vent. It takes no more than a minute or two to install a campervan stove and protect it from intruders. A note: they only fit Suburban and Duo-Therm stove flues. If you have an Atwood oven you will need a different screen which is also available right here at Revain. Check the oven manufacturer to make sure you have it before ordering.
