Could be a great product if it works. I didn't have it. I got this specifically for deep frying Hanukkah donuts and latkes. It's always a mess and it seemed like a great solution. About 10 minutes. I've made about a dozen donuts with this thing. I was so happy. They turned out beautiful. Quite simply with a fryer bucket. I thought wow this is awesome why didn't I do this years ago! I was already having visions of the stew, soup, and cholent I would cook in this giant, standalone pot. And then I wanted to cook latkes and it just didn't work anymore. Do nothing. I fiddled with the connector, let it cool, separated the parts, and reassembled them. Nothing. He just died. Now I have a pot. Which I will definitely repeat. Probably for a refund, I have doubts about these things given such luck. Although I'd really like to have a working one that will last for years. I ended up having disappointingly baked latkes instead of deep fried, but Hanukkah goes on!
