The Verizon D-Link 2750B User Edition looks a bit simpler than the Consumer Edition. Installation is similar to any wireless router. Mine connected directly after connecting. It has special Verizon firmware, so there is no guarantee that it will work on other systems. Even if you use Verizon DSL, you should check if your local system supports it. Since it comes with minimal instructions, it's a good idea to download the full manual. A Google search for "D-Link 2750B manual" returns two. The one you need has Verizon on the front page. The other is a consumer version with a lighter body. The manual comparison shows that this model uses Verizon's own web interface for configuration instead of D-Link's web interface. The D-Link model also has additional features (e.g. an evaluation CD) that are not included in the Verizon model. As is common with OEM hardware, some features may be missing from the commercial version or disabled by Verizon's firmware (e.g. USB printer sharing, but I haven't been able to verify). There are reports of users trying to update this model with D-Link firmware. They failed and bricked the router. I recommend sticking with the Verizon firmware.
