I have a b7 s4 with Bose and wanted to upgrade an ancient radio. I chose this stereo after reading a million reviews. I saw someone with A4 who said the stereo fits and works. That's a great stereo! I'm very happy with it, sorry for waiting so long for the update! I was worried that once we got the old radio out my car would go haywire and a bunch of crap wouldn't work (if you have an Audi you know what I mean), but my husband said he got in right away . I also bought a dashboard kit but we didn't need it. So, one thing I have to mention is that my security system was down for about 2 days. I say security system, but it wasn't the usual sound of my car alarm, it was like a shrill chime that I didn't know my car could make. I heard it every few hours, thought it was my neighbor's house alarm, until I got close to my car. Anyway I started the car and the noise didn't come back, it's been 2 weeks since then. I read that others had security issues but I think my problem was most likely a low battery due to the install and not the stereo. Now everything works as it should. One more thing: I wanted to be able to connect my phone through my stereo, which was one of the main reasons for my upgrade. I read that a car game required me to buy a key, which I did. It's connected but I don't use it because I used bluetooth to play music from my phone but I'm not sure if all functions work over bluetooth but I do know music and calls work. He has a backup. Camera option, it turns on automatically when you turn it on vice versa. It doesn't come with a camera, but I found one for $30 that's bigger than my license plate. My husband installed it last night and it works great. Sorry for the long review. I felt it was important to check out my particular set for others like me who want to know if this radio is compatible before we spend big bucks. I have a 2006 Audi S4 v8 B7 with Bose but no navigation still hehe.
