I ordered these based on the good reviews here from verified purchasers, and am not disappointed. I have not had them but for a couple weeks, but my first impressions are very good, so much so that I purchased an additional pair. They came well packaged, and while there is no instructions, you really do not need any to open the bottom, install the three required AA batteries (not included), and you are off and running. As a lantern these are very bright and will work great for my storm shelter and for power outages. I tested them in a dark room, took pictures, but decided not to post them as I felt they did not give the brightness justice. Trust me, as emergency lighting or for camping, these should be more than adequate. These double as a flashlight using a single LED which is not as bright as you may want, but I bought these to serve as a lantern, so not a deal breaker for me.Time will tell how well these four hold up, and how long batteries last, and I will update this review if my rating changes. As I mentioned I bought a second pair and highly recommend them.
