I just bought it and recently received it as a Christmas present for myself. I just started geocaching and this device is perfect for me. You can't beat the size and ease of use of this device. It is very compact but contains all the necessary functions. If you're geocaching, you don't need WAAS. The WAAS receiver will get you within 15-30 feet of the cache and this will do the same. I was able to learn the basic functions of this receiver with little or no difficulty. I wanted a device that I could use for a while and then upgrade. When I got mine it was $69 minus $20 for discount mail meaning I got a quality basic GPSr for less than $50. Of course there are cheaper ones on ebay, but they are not new and not as easy to use as the Garmin Geko 101. for connecting an external power supply. I didn't know when I bought it so I gave it 5 stars. Later I will switch to a receiver with such functions. If you need a basic GPSr for geocaching or other outdoor activities, this is your baby!
