This unit probably won't even hit 80 GPH but I need a low head. There is an adjustable dial that allows you to reduce the flow even further. I bought two of these to test and tinker with. Two different Chinese brands but identical except for the packaging. I am currently using one to power an 8w UV sterilizer in a planted aquarium. The other I use with a five gallon bucket for slow water changes when I don't want to disturb the water in my tank. It can barely climb two feet, but placing a bucket on a chair pumps a steady stream of clean water into my aquariums while I vacuum or even watch TV. I'll probably use it in the sump of a 5.5 gallon daisy chain when I start farming shrimp.
