Booster Antenna

My car had poor FM reception, picked up all the normal stations but some had intermittent interference. Rather than guessing or testing things for a problem, I figured this antenna would be a cheap and easy diagnostic step, but might stay constant if it worked. The antenna works, my signals were stronger, but there was still some interference at times. It would be unfair for me to expect this antenna to eliminate all static when there are so many other variables. This antenna reduced static electricity and also got me a few stations that I wouldn't normally be able to search or hear. it was covered or protected by metal. If you can't make out it from the picture, it has power and ground to connect to. The ground wire is located at the base of the antenna but is the same length as the antenna wire so you can shorten it or route it back to the radio. The power cord must be hot when the radio is on. Most radios have an antenna/amplifier cable or a power antenna cable that you can connect to. I wouldn't do that in the water, but the antenna looks good and is weatherproof.
