Good performing antenna

I bought two for two next to a ground wire for the antenna. It brings so many stations compared to just cable. Will include one of these with every radio we install nearby. We hook everything up and just use the 3m tape that came with it and tape it under the UTV dash.

Not just for boats.

We have two of these, one on the boat and one in the RV which is fiberglass. They work great! My husband spent quite a bit of time trying to improve reception in the RV by installing a ground reflector under the car roof antenna. Eventually realizing the van was more like a boat than a car, he installed Jensen's antenna.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Excessive price

shorter! c AV Accessory

Purchased for use on a 31ft powerboat with built in stereo intended to receive FM radio from 75 miles away. It has 3 wires: power, ground and antenna. DO NOT CONNECT GROUND TO GROUND OR NEGATIVE! This is for the "ground plane" of the attached antenna and power supply when I was about to connect the little black one, Zap! The antenna appears to be grounded as a red light glows when connected which gives me a small noticeable leakage current. FM not consistent beyond 75 miles, NOT recommended

SHORT CABLE, NOISE on Accessories and Consumables

I HAVE A PORSCHE 944 2 DOOR WHICH I CAN TOUCH THE PASSENGER DOOR FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT. IT DON'T EVEN GET TO MY WIDSCREEN CENTER STEREO. NEED TO REMOVE EVERYTHING NOW, APPROX. 2 HOURS OF WORK. MAYBE I HAVE AN INSUFFICIENT PART. I think it hurts, shut up about it. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING FROM AMAZON IN THE FUTURE. DO YOUR RESEARCH. hp MADE A VICTORY SOUND WHEN YOU PLUG IN THE POWER CORD, AND ROTATE THE POWER TARGETS BY ANENNA. I WILL GET RID OF THIS. Thanks for reading, hope this helps…

absolute junk, the best antennas

don't worry if you order this junk. I received my standard shipping through Revain and when I opened the package I looked at the product and it was broken into pieces. Didn't even think to open it as it was previously returned. The amazing thing is that even through the transparent plastic packaging you can see that this "sea antenna" will never work in salt water conditions. Extensions are made of pressed paper and do not withstand moisture. It's amazing that there are people saying it's a…

Really improved reception in our little Honda

The antenna in our little Honda must have shorted out in the past because we couldn't pick up any radio stations for a couple of miles. I mounted it high on the windshield above the rearview mirror, then routed the cables and wires under the headliner and A-pillar. Connecting the power cord was a bit of a hassle, but it turned out great in the end. We still don't have the same reception as our other two cars, but day and night it's better than before. I thought the little red power light would…

Good radio, easy installation.

My antenna failed on my old car and they don't sell matching replacement antennas. That little guy fits in there. It was easy to install and connect to my radio via my dashboard. First connect the black ground wire to the vehicle ground wire or any part of the metal frame. The red wire connects to the 12V wire in my car; This only turns on the radio when I turn on the key. Then the antenna cable is connected to the stereo system. The wires are long enough to span my entire dash, although if you

Booster Antenna

My car had poor FM reception, picked up all the normal stations but some had intermittent interference. Rather than guessing or testing things for a problem, I figured this antenna would be a cheap and easy diagnostic step, but might stay constant if it worked. The antenna works, my signals were stronger, but there was still some interference at times. It would be unfair for me to expect this antenna to eliminate all static when there are so many other variables. This antenna reduced static…

I just installed this antenna in my car and it works great. I used a hidden antenna I bought years ago that looks like a Tune Trapper but I honestly can't remember what brand it is. I had this antenna hidden behind some panels on the back of the car and I don't remember if it was also supposed to receive AM, but it wasn't behind that panel. I tried this antenna behind the same panel and it didn't pick up AM stations either, so I installed it on top of the windshield behind a dark bar and it…
