Review on ๐Ÿš€ Avid SpeedDial 7 Single Brake Lever: Enhanced Performance and Smooth Control by Vedprakash Trilltight

Better than Shimano XTR Levers

As test riders, we are picky about levers and have found Shimano XTR levers to flex over time over the years, even when the bike isn't dropped on them. Not sure if it's the design or the type of aluminum used, but I went back to the Speed Dial 7 and SL for a different bike. Either way, the design is excellent, smooth operation, and easy on-the-fly adjustments. The lever is primarily used for an Avid BBDB front disc brake (an older BB7 that works much better) and a 180mm rotor plus organic pads. Amazing combination. Installation is always easy, as is cable installation, which is done in seconds. For the price, it's worth spending more than $89 on XTR levers.
