I bought a Bosch bandsaw as a replacement because I already bought an Imachinist bi-metal bandsaw. In short, the Machinist's blade was so deformed that I couldn't follow it. I've spent hours tracking down this new blade. However, as soon as a load was applied to the Imachinest blade, it flew off the wheels. The Chinese made Machinist blade is complete junk costing me time and money. I installed a Bosch knife, made some minor adjustments and it has been cutting for a few days. I don't normally use blades less than 14 teeth per inch because they cut slowly even though they leave a better surface. However, having used the Bosch I can only struggle with the slower cut as it is the cheapest blade Revain sells and it seems to work well. As for durability, I'll have to get back to you, but for now it seems good value.
