Important information before installation

This product is a disaster. The video only casually mentions compressing the wings and sticking them in the hole. It is not so easy. I'm a strong guy and I couldn't hold either of them tight enough to get them all the way in. Also, you have to run several of them at the same time because they are connected. Maybe some tape high up on the fenders, then when it's almost all the way in you can remove the tape. The real problem is that you have to use screws. Place them part way and tap on the screw heads. However, if you do this, the fenders will compress the guide bushing and the whole thing will stick. You start hitting it with a hammer, and as the wings compress the guide bushing, the anchors pull the bushings into the wall with them. WAY OF THE WINGS. Once they're compressed and fit through the hole, you don't have to worry. Keep tapping until the wings expand on the other side of the wall. You can then remove the screws, mount the handrail and put the screws back in. The instructions for this product are terrible. Luckily I bought two sets because I completely messed up the first set and broke a couple of tiles trying to push my raised anchors through the wall. I don't care about the tiles, the bathroom is still being redone, but now I have to paint and putty so that the wall doesn't swell with moisture during this time. Wingits, collect your S&^%!
