I recommend carefully and if you are not sure, follow the instructions.

Works very well when installed correctly. Even on a simple sheet of drywall, they can take a lot of weight without moving a bit. However, note that installation is difficult, you need accurate measurements, and installing on tile is much more difficult. I recommend that you follow the instructions carefully and, if you are not confident in your skills, hire a master to do this work. Use wall studs whenever possible, size and position rods to hook as many studs as possible, and use anchors only…

A few tips before you start

1. Triple check the bolts. My spike finder was acting weird so I replaced the battery and was happy with that. I had an incorrect reading and had to move my label. 2. Measure the screw holes center to center of what you are installing, mark and drill for that measurement, not for a specific width on the wings. 3. Drill the dead center of the pilot hole. The Apache 3/4" bit tended to move a bit. The pilot hole helps prevent this. 4. Make sure you are using the Apache 3/4" bit and not the 1-1/…

Important information before installation

This product is a disaster. The video only casually mentions compressing the wings and sticking them in the hole. It is not so easy. I'm a strong guy and I couldn't hold either of them tight enough to get them all the way in. Also, you have to run several of them at the same time because they are connected. Maybe some tape high up on the fenders, then when it's almost all the way in you can remove the tape. The real problem is that you have to use screws. Place them part way and tap on the…
