Slipcover is stretchy enough to ease over ottoman and fit a range of styles and sizes, and the few seams give it enough definition to look reasonably fitted and not cheap and sloppy. I was skeptical of this waffle knit fabric thinking it would look and feel cheap (I have always bought cotton duck covers from the leading Sure slipcover company) but have bought several furniture covers created with this and am very pleased. Even with the dark patterned fabric on the ottoman, the ivory conceals it completely both in opacity and surface area. I have animals so slipcover everything, and I anticipate this synthetic fabric will wear and wash well. I plan to line dry it so that it doesn't pill or become shiny, and to preserve the elasticity. It should dry fairly quickly because it's not that thick and because it's a synthetic.
