At first I decided to take a chance because the product name says the belt is leather but the description says nylon. Belt. What I got was a nylon strap with just enough grommets to use the type of buckle used on adjustable ratchet straps. I really like ratchet straps because they are easy to adjust. And I was looking for a casual canvas look and this belt hit the spot. I have the 28-40 inch version and it fit perfectly after I cut 3 inches of the strap and reattached it to the buckle. I wear Levi jeans with a 34 inch waist.
