I needed a speaker cable after realizing the cable was missing from the Grace digital amplifier I had bought. This cable was recommended and I found it sounded better with a smaller amp than my heavier cables. I was positively surprised. For some applications, the base is more than sufficient. The wire bends and removes easily so you can route it around furniture, through windows, under rugs and more when setting up a temporary listening station for a social event, seminar or dinner. I think it's good for setups where sound is required, but it might not be my first choice for a music room. It's inexpensive and hopefully strong enough to last a few years. So far I'm happy with this cheap speaker cable.
