Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhance Precision and Convenience with DEWALT DW7231 Miter Saw Mounting Brackets - Large Size by Eric Sharp

Easy way to avoid tricky crown cutting

Small clean product, two metal jaws and two plastic gripped screws securing the jaws to the side of the saw table. The molded part to be machined can be placed very easily on the fence, with the top on the table and the bottom on the fence, with the supporting surfaces having to be pressed against the fence and the table. This does what the Kreg Crown-Pro does and has the advantage of being able to easily use workpiece supports, for example on a DeWalt DWX723 or DWX724 miter saw bed. It is important that both stops are set to the same distance. With one in position and the stop pin secured, use a ruler to set the other stop. An alternative solution is to determine the overhang you want and cut a piece of wood to that width and then lay that piece on the table and against the fence, then lift and fasten the braces. The straight edge method is much easier. With crown stops, no complicated combination angle cuts are required, just set the angle and cut the bar. I highly recommend buying a good angle sensor, it should show up in offers when you view the DW7084 Revain page.
