Review on Vornado VH202 Personal Space Heater by Andargie Marquez

In the preface to this review I would like to say that I already have two of these devices and I hate writing this review because they were perfect. while they worked. Unfortunately, the first one started making that horrible clicking noise about a year later when I first turned it on. Loud click. So loud that my colleagues came to my office to ask what the "strange noise" was. The heater will make this noise for about 2 minutes and then quiet down and operate normally. However, after doing this for about a week every time I turned it on, one day it stopped working completely. When I turned it on, it did nothing at all. There was no air and the only smell was of burnt plastic. Since it was working fine up to that point, I thought it was an accident and ordered another one. However, it's been about a year since I bought this second replacement and EXACTLY THE SAME HAPPENS. It started making an awful clicking noise when I turned it on, did so for about a week, and today it completely stopped working and smelled like burnt plastic. This saddens me because it was a completely silent heater that provided the perfect warmth for my office. But after having two with the exact same problem I can no longer buy this brand. Time to look elsewhere! I give it two stars because, as I said, it was perfect while it worked.
