Not worth the money

Installed on my daughter's Mazda without any problems. I followed the instructions and plugged it in properly, then turned it on and the fuses blew. It's blown fuses that I can't figure out, like the air conditioning dash controls and all the lights. So I thought I connected it wrong, I unplugged the stereo and double checked my work and yes everything is connected correctly (not my first install). All fuses replaced, started fine, no fuse blown. I have no idea what happened there. I never understood that. Then I realized it was the exact same boot screen/software as Kenwood in my car, which I absolutely hate. So now I'm at a crossroads. I know this unit will fail, as will my Kenwood. So should I keep it or take it now and get something else? The functionality is exactly the same as the Kenwood, apart from the lack of a power button. There's no way to disable this thing without going through 20 different menu items. Don't waste your money on it. Spend a few bucks more and buy a Sony or Alpine. Avoid JVC/Kenwood. PS My daughter said to leave it in the car until it breaks, then we will upgrade it.
