Nearly perfect. for Car Audio

Dear Stereo! There were a few things that weren't related and I'll have to look at them later. I couldn't touch a few things I wanted to edit for my screen. And my stereo connection was not connected. Apart from these problems the sound is great, connected to my phone no problem. I love it!

  • Easy to read control panel

Excellent performance in Car Audio

I got this JVC set after some problems with a lesser known brand. It has many great features including DVD, Equalizer and Bluetooth. Bluetooth works great with crystal clear calls. Also very easy to install. For $160 it was great. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $60 on a JVC/Kenwood product. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • Working

I do not recommend good for car electronics

everything in this stereo is hardly usable. The communication is lame. The sound is ok at best. That's not very convenient. The video processing is bad. The Spotify app is garbage. I even did updates and it didn't make the stereo more functional. Buyers beware, you get what you pay for. I will definitely switch from JVC after this experience.

Pros
  • hands-free kit
Cons
  • little things

So the device, the service is terrible

The device works well with the touchscreen. Annoying to switch off completely. The JVC website is terrible. I tried to register a purchase but couldn't find where to do it. I went to the link they listed but it didn't show anything about registration. I even searched for "guarantee" and again for "registration", both searches were empty. I will not buy another JVC/KENWOOD product.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Almost perfect but there is a FATAL error

Generally a decent radio. Weak preamp outputs when you connect an amplifier. All functions work well and the touchscreen volume control is a great idea. The biggest downside, and one that absolutely ruins this radio, is how bad the glare on it is. Absolutely terrible. Literally half the time there is nothing on the screen. Even in the almost complete absence of sunlight, it looks like a dim mirror.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Not worth the money

Installed on my daughter's Mazda without any problems. I followed the instructions and plugged it in properly, then turned it on and the fuses blew. It's blown fuses that I can't figure out, like the air conditioning dash controls and all the lights. So I thought I connected it wrong, I unplugged the stereo and double checked my work and yes everything is connected correctly (not my first install). All fuses replaced, started fine, no fuse blown. I have no idea what happened there. I never…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Requires socket

Not bad but might need a few bug fixes

So this is the 4th stereo I've installed in my car since I got it a little over 2 years ago. After buying some heavy, cheap, cheap, unbranded Chinese products, I bought a pioneering, well-respected brand from China, a product that worked great, but the UI required so many touches for basic things that it was driving for me made insecure. It's the complete opposite. The interface is great. I don't have to go through multiple screens just to adjust the volume. FACTUAL! Slide your finger across…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Useless features
