This container is a larger and bigger opportunity to keep large amounts of leftovers and making a dinner for the family. The container size is 48 ounces which is big enough for a family size lasagna or a large salad. It's actually perfect if you are on a budget and want to make food ahead to cut costs, these are large enough for food prep for a couple, family and even a party event.The seal on the two pieces, when snapped together is very tight. I have dropped them with salad inside (accidentally) as I was rushing to a party gathering and put everything inside to go. The seal didn't break and all the salad was shook, but still was inside. It didn't dent the bottom or top either.The containers are great for hot or cold foods that you want to keep fresh. The top is slightly higher (and still stacks), so you can fill it a little bit more than a flat lid. It seals when you press all the sides and holds very well. The corner opening is an easy pull, so when you need to get inside to reach the food, it's quick.
