The crimping tool included in this set works reasonably well and appears to be of functional quality (I say unbranded to back it up Compare with). However, the plugs with this set are quite cheap. I have used them successfully and they have worked well enough for what I do with them which is replacing turn signals and other wiring connectors on motorcycles. The 4mm connectors in this kit are compatible with the connectors used in most OEM and aftermarket turn signal assemblies. The plugs don't really match the dies in the crimper. The shape is slightly off and if you try to crimp them right out of the box they get weird and break instead of properly flipping. You have to lightly squeeze each connector in the box with pliers before inserting them into the crimping tool, which is a chore as hell. The supplied insulating caps are also the wrong size, and your choice always seems too loose or too tight for a particular plug. A drop of silicone grease on each helps them slide properly, which is a harder task to repeat with each connector, slowing you down. Forks for buckets, I would definitely invest in better stuff. When it finally comes time to refill my junction box, trust me I'll find another brand! I will definitely keep the crimping tool for myself. I suspect that using quality connectors will improve performance significantly.
